Witness recalls seeing old bomb parked near missing woman's apartment
A man found a bomb on a sidewalk near the missing woman's apartment at 641 Washington St.
Police said that on Sunday, a man walking his dog around Washington St. spotted an apparent bomb on a sidewalk on his way home from the bar he worked at.
"I remember a little child screaming, 'You have to stop it. Don't kill anybody,'" he said. "And when I turned around, there was another bomb."
According to detectives, at the time they didn't have an opportunity to speak with the man as to why he believed the bomb was there.

Coalition pledges wedderburn paramedic

A Brisbane hospital has pledged to spend $60 million to reduce the number of patients treated with emergency rooms in a desperate bid to win their trust.
Sydney-based EurekAlert believes many hospital trusts are too overwhelmed to keep up with their growing demand and have cut back on staff hours.
It wants to raise about $20 million over two years to support hospitals' emergency room capacities.
It launched an online campaign to ask people what they thought about the decision by major hospital chains to increase staff levels by 60 per cent over eight months.
Health Minister Cameron Dick said there was no need to change emergency department capacity because hospitals were already spending big money on hospital facilities.
He said the government was putting a budget freeze on the budget in the 2015-16 federal parliament.
